Question 1

How does online coaching work in practice?

Accepted Answer

This is a fully app-based coaching service through the HubFit app. There are no video calls, no scheduled meetings, and no live check-in calls. You get a structured training programme in HubFit, with your starting block chosen from your onboarding answers, and follow it at your gym on your own schedule. Your coach reviews your weekly check-in, adjusts your plan based on the workout data you log, and messages you through HubFit when changes are needed.

Question 2

Is this suitable for complete beginners?

Accepted Answer

No. CALIBRE online coaching is built for people who already have at least 6 months of consistent gym experience and know how to perform basic compound lifts like squats, presses, and rows. We focus on structured progression and clear accountability.

Question 3

Are there coaching calls or video reviews?

Accepted Answer

No. Coaching is written, through HubFit, in your own time.

Question 4

What gym equipment do I need?

Accepted Answer

Access to a standard commercial gym with barbells, dumbbells, cables, and machines is ideal. Well-equipped home gyms with a rack, barbell, bench, and weights are also supported. Tell us your setup when you apply.

Question 5

Is nutrition included?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at different levels. Standard includes general nutrition guidance: targets, principles and reference material. Not a personal plan. Pro includes a tailored nutrition plan and supplement advice.

Question 6

What is the difference between Standard and Pro?

Accepted Answer

Both use the same training system. Standard (£99/month) is the structured training programme in HubFit, weekly check-ins, written feedback and adjustments, progress audits, and general nutrition guidance (non-personalised). Pro (£199/month) adds a tailored nutrition plan, supplement advice, and priority written responses within 24 hours.

Question 7

How does the subscription work?

Accepted Answer

No long-term contract. Billed monthly until you cancel. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid the following charge. You can cancel through Stripe or by emailing coaching@trainwithcalibre.com. No partial refunds are given for unused time in a paid period. Training is delivered in fixed blocks, so progress has a clear start and end.

Question 8

How do I start?

Accepted Answer

Choose Standard or Pro and subscribe through the secure Stripe checkout. Your HubFit login is emailed within 24 hours of payment, with an onboarding form. If you are not sure which plan fits, apply first and we will recommend one.

Question 9

What happens after I apply?

Accepted Answer

We review every application. If there is a fit, CALIBRE will contact you with next steps. If there is not, you will hear that too.

Question 10

Do you offer in-person personal training?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in Paisley. The package is £149 a month for one session a week, with a written plan for your training between sessions. Paid monthly. Cancel before your next billing date. A first session is £35.
